Stardust 02:01
So bright, I sigh To the stars you fly, away again We’re covered in stardust Floating discreetly amongst the cosmic wasteland Can you hold my hand ‘till we’re ripped apart Away again, We’re covered in stardust

I try to fight the certain signs But i can't win With all my might I try to race you, beat you to the finish line You try to catch up, but I won't let you in this time With the current phase of the moon I get lost inside of you With the current phase of the moon I get lost without you And no matter how hard I try I stumble over every line And no matter how hard I try You faint I die a second time But you can't seem to find my bones You find the rest of me hidden in your home Like the rest of all your cunning little lies With the current phase of the moon I get lost inside of you With the current phase of the moon I get lost without you With the current phase of the moon I get lost inside of you With the current phase of the moon I get lost without you With the current phase of the moon I get lost inside of you With the current phase of the moon I get lost without you And no matter how hard I try I stumble over every line And no matter how hard I tried You faint

Fly Fly Away 02:43
Everyday we watch the same old things As we’re wasting away before the T.V screen It says “are you lonely?” “Do you need some time to forget?” To forget the past, forget the pain With a bottle of pills you won’t remember your name Do you even remember your name? Everyday we feel the acid rain Running down from our faces as we wash off all the blood From the scars they trace Or any way that our minds can erase So forget the past, forget the pain With a bottles of pills you won't remember your name Do you even remember your name? Everyday we watch the same old things As we’re wasting away before the T.V screen It says “are you lonely?” “Do you need some time to forget?” To forget the past , forget the pain With a bottle of pills you won’t remember your name So just fly away Fly away Fly away before it’s too late

So what!? The stars fall, while the troops evacuate they scream And it’s my fault Again Marching onward, as the remnants fall from the sky Raining voices call, but the rebels won this time But the rebels won this time But the rebels won this time Marching onward, as the remnants fall from the sky Raining voices call, but today the empire dies

about

In May 2022, Kyle and I spent a lot of time going for walks, looking up at the sky, talking, and dreaming. One day, while watching some chem-trail jets on a pink sunset, he mentioned making an EP called 'Pink Jetstream' - that thought never left my head.

This EP is the step from 'Elephant In The Room' towards some darker sounds we'd like to explore on LP2. 'Pink Jetstream' was originally supposed to be an EP made up of LP2 B-sides, but as the band's line up started to change, we wrote new music.

This EP is the debut for new members, Brandon MacDonald and Chase Clarke. With each demo, we had 'working titles' all revolving around space and the sky. Chase took these titles literally and wrote words about the titles, giving each song it's own space-y theme within the EP. Brandon MacDonald repurposed and old bass, making it fretless. You can hear the big, spaced-out, smooth slides on "Stardust" and "Current Phase of the Moon".
